Donald Trump a week ago asserted that “the economy is BOOMING under TRUMP [his caps].” This is after the bad jobs report by the United States government's Bureau of Labor Statistics. Then Trump fired the woman who headed up the BLS – because it was bad news! It was not her fault the news was bad, obviously. Americans are going to begin realizing that the so-called head of state of the United States of America is an idiot savant. Yes, he's got some outstanding aptitude for understanding the world, but overall his IQ is quite low. I would say it is about average, maybe just above average. Hard to believe he got through University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School. I will bet he had a hard time.

Trump's ability to analyze what is going on, dispassionately, is very limited. He will crash and burn – unless he's got good advisors. We are going to have a depression, a very powerful and lengthy economic depression. How certain am I of this? Pretty certain, maybe even totally certain. Enormous upheaval is coming. Employment in the old economy is shrinking, is beginning to shrink, and employment in the new economy has yet to build up capacity.

And then you have Trump's stupid tariffs. The tariffs regime will only serve to exacebate the depression. It is amazing how much of an idiot Trump is. But that's an idiot savant for you. I am not arguing that this downturn is imminent, it is probably not. Artificial intelligence is just getting its power under way. I would say we are about 5 years off before AI begins to destroy the economy. What is also going to destroy the economy is me. Capital is going to be hugely destructive.

It is time to short Lockheed Martin. And also the other 4 large and important Pentagon contractors. I quote myself:

“The top 5 MIC contractors are [in terms of stock market capitalization]: Boeing; General Dynamics; Lockheed Martin; Northrup Grumman; and Raytheon. I have published below, as images, their stock charts. You will see why Senator Shaheen works for them. Very lucrative, very profitable. It's a trillion dollar Pentagon budget!”

It is going to be utterly shocking and astounding. Lockheed Martin started selling off around mid-October 2024. And why did it start selling off then? I think it is likely that this is when it was pretty much obvious that I was not going to die of cancer. Lymphoma. I was finishing my final chemotherapy infusion then, the last of 6 infusions. The PET-CT scan showed that I had no cancer. There was a small chance there was still a little cancer, but it was unlikely. Then 6 months later, maybe almost 8 months, I had another PET-CT and it showed even better results. My last one, on June 2, showed zero cancer, no cancer at all.

So it is time to short Lockheed Martin. I had hesitated to write and publish this article about 1 week ago, when I conceived it. And the reason for that is I was still not confident that Trump was going to follow my instructions and establish an entente with Russia and China. Now, it looks like he will do it, and he will be doing pretty much everything I say. The only real problem is his deference to Israel and his lunatic obsession with tariffs. His MAGA is sophisticated con artistry, but his conviction in the power of tariffs is total idiocy. He actually thinks he will prevent the world from moving into a new and more advanced system.

Herbert Hoover and Donald Trump. Both the same kind of men. Goofballs. But certainly able to get elected, certainly talented at bullshitting people. Then I did an interview with my friend Daryl G. Kimball, executive director of the Arms Control Association in Washington, DC. This was May 27, 2025. Vladimir Putin is playing with Trump, and enjoying himself. Putin has been fully briefed on what I think, and what I'm currently thinking. The same can be said for Xi Jinping, but even more so. Both men are taunting Trump, but in a very playful manner, and sort of respectfully. They are courting Trump, playing up to his large ego. Telling him how much of a historical figure he is. And yes he is – because of me.

So it is all over. If Trump does what I tell him to do, things will be fine. But if he ventures off on his own, then things will get really freaky. Then I cannot predict what will happen. What's great about Trump is he actually believes that he's in charge. That he's the “stable genius.” Hilarious.

His Treasury secretary is “married” to a man and has children. Freaky beyond belief. I just was at our local bank in Santa Rosa and I had to do some business, and there was an attractive young woman, European American, and she flirted with me a little. I flirted back. I gave her my card. I am married for 37 years to a French woman who is a descendant of French nobles, but this is what homo sapiens are all about. I could be her father, she was so young. So Scott Bessent is a deviant. That Trump went through 3 wives and cheated on all 3 is a testament to his weak brain, his deviancy. But he is a funny guy. I do respect that.

Lockheed Martin has been in a virtual free fall since mid-October 2024. I expect this free fall to accelerate. There will be a mad rush to sell. The other Pentagon contractors are not getting sold yet, but they will. We are in the early days. It's hilarious. Pete Hegseth and Elbridge Colby are on board with me, surely. Both men are pretty good guys, they are serious and serious intellects. They realize that I am right. They both laugh behind Trump's back – which is very healthy.

It's a new world. Yes, it is possible things might go bad, there is always the chance of this, but I figure it is a small chance. At this point I am increasingly confident and that is why I am writing this today and publishing it today. We will see if the sell-off of Lockheed Martin accelerates. Lockheed Martin is the most important and largest Pentagon contractor, so it would be expected to lead the others.

I thank so much my friend Daryl Kimball for his great interview. That was clearly a turning point. It is the end of the gargantuan military industrial complex, which got built up to fearsome levels during the Cold War. Trump says that NATO is obsolete, he got that from me. Indeed it is. “Strategic cooperation” with Russia, but also with China.

Yes, it's a new world. We have artificial intelligence to help. We have competition. Intense competition. Global competition. So let's monitor Trump's idiot savantism.
